Sustainability has been a huge focus for us at Associated, especially in the last few years. We are partners of 1% For The Planet for our compostable pouches, which means that 1% of sales from these pouches get donated to a certified environmental non-profit of our choice.

It's been almost six months since we announced the formation of our sustainable packaging committee on our social media! In that time, our team has grown into an all-encompassing Environmental Sustainability Team: dedicated to tackling the overall sustainability initiatives at Associated.

Awesome! Our two 30-amp Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging stations have been installed at our main building! We now welcome all staff and visitors to charge up their vehicles while at our company!

Since 2017 our Director of Sustainability has been attending round table sessions with the city council six times per year. Advocacy is an important role for companies wanting to contribute locally to making their community a better place.

This month's "Sustainable Tip of the Month" is a little different; we're releasing our company's official stance on sustainability.
