Is Flexographic Printing Right For You?

With digital printing gaining popularity across the packaging industry, flexographic printing can sometimes be a secondary thought. However, there are so many benefits to choosing flexographic printing:

Color Matching

When printing on a flexographic press, we can use the Pantone Colour System to match the exact colour you’re looking for. Flexographic printing also allows you to print up to 10 colours on your packaging solution and is an excellent option when looking for solid colour printing.

Range of Options

Additional processes, such as varnishing and lamination, can be integrated directly into the press line with flexographic printing. This makes for an efficient and smooth production process.

At Associated, we also have a wide variety of substrates to choose from and over 1700 die shapes – there’s truly something for everyone!

Suited for Larger Runs

Flexographic printing can be highly cost-effective for larger print runs: the more you print, the better the value. Printing a larger run for a product with a long shelf life can also help you to avoid shortages, much like the ones many stores faced at the beginning of the pandemic.

Turnaround Time

At Associated, we produce all of our plates in-house, which allows for complete control of the production process. Including our enormous 52” W&H press, we have 11 flexographic presses, which allows for quick production and a faster turnaround time.
