Sustainability Update: Water Coolers

One of our most recent sustainable improvements was our decision to switch from our traditional water coolers to in-wall bottle filling stations. So, instead of weekly water bottle deliveries, we’ll be using this new touchless, energy-saving bottle filling station for our filtered water. This saves on transportation impacts and reduces our carbon footprint.

Initially, we rolled out with two units across our buildings, with the plan to add more units with time. One of the several struggles with sustainability initiatives is the larger upfront costs of making these changes, although it will save money, time, and energy in the long run. Our goal is to have all of the water coolers switched to the new stations by the end of this year!

This may seem like a small change but, as we’ve said before, these little changes can work toward reducing our ecological footprint!
