Customer Spotlight: West Coast Seeds

We're so excited to share our very first customer spotlight!

Like Associated, West Coast Seeds are a multi-generational company invested in their community and sustainability. Their focus is on sustainable agriculture and organic farming. They have an incredible worldwide Seed Donation Program, which we decided was worth exploring!

The current pandemic has really made our company think about offerings for our employees. This spurred our decision to build some garden plots to offer herbs, leafy greens, asparagus, onions, and potatoes to employees!

Through West Coast Seeds, we purchased seeds, soil and some grow lights to create starters. With an abundance of plant starters, we were able to give some away to employees, while planting others. It may be a small step but we're so thrilled to embrace a part of the West Coast Seeds philosophy and be able to grow organic food on-site for our employees.

West Coast Seeds is a Vancouver-based company that has been around for over 35 years. Like Associated, they understand the importance of sustaining the integrity of their products and services by offering the highest quality they can. This is done through rigourous testing in their independent, government-certified seed laboratory and regular, intensive trials. 

Last but definitely not least, we love the community support that West Coast Seeds prides themselves on. One example of how they do this is by providing seeds and materials to support local growing and environmental education programs.
